Come si ottiene la forma interrogativa del present continuous?
La forma interrogativa è molto semplice, perché si ottiene invertendo l'ausiliare essere con il soggetto, esattamente come accadeva con il verbo "to be" alla forma interrogativa, dopodiché verrà aggiunto il verbo che regge l'azione al gerundio, dunque con la forma che termina in -ING.
Quando e come usare il present continuous?
Il present continuous è utilizzato per descrivere azioni che accadono nel momento in cui si sta parlando o situazioni che consideriamo temporanee.
Come fare frasi con present continuous?
La struttura del present continuous è relativamente semplice. Bisogna usare una forma del verbo to be (in base alla persona che compie l'azione) e aggiungere la desinenza -ing al verbo base. Ad esempio: I am writing now.
